Error in using loadlibrary function

Hi, I am new to using .dll files and this function, what I am trying to do is use Strand7 (R2.4.6) with Matlab 2011b. I have the all .dll files as well as header and constant files in the same directory as my Matlab script but the error I am getting is :
Error using loadlibrary (line 253) A 'Selected' compiler was not found. You may need to run mex -setup.
I am unsure about which compiler would be correct or if I need to find a different one somewhere? Could there also be a problem with the version of Matlab installed?
