Hi,
I found two different methods to linearize a simulink model: linearize and linmod. Both can lin. the system at an operation point or at a certain time. Whats the difference between both? Linearize is used by the Linear Analysis Tool, which seems to be relatively new. Is linmod an older method that will be replaced by linearize?
Cheers, Frank

Please take a look here, and scroll down to the section "Linearization Using Simulink Control Design Versus Simulink".

The "linearize" command is available only if you have the Simulink Control Design add-on, which you have to pay extra for. It does not come as a standard part of Simulink, AFAIK. The "linmod" command does not have the same features, but it is standard Simulink.
