How to simultaneously run multiple tasks?

I want to run my program as follow:

input = video;
%%Detect object 
if object is detected 
(let say object is detected at frame 10)
give id = obj1;
task 1 : track obj1 and in the same time check if other object is present in the scene.
task 2 : process the detected object (the object image that had been detected for the first time (at frame 10))

Is it suitable if I use

parpool

or any idea to run this program in parallel?
