Matlab on Mac Pro?

I'm in the market for a new computer. Choices are Mac Pro workstation, a windows-based works station, or the new iMac. It would be terrific f anyone has experience running Matlab on the Mac Pro (the garbage can computer) with some benchmark comparisons and would share those benchmarks.

My name is Mandar and I work at MathWorks. We generally do not recommend buying a specific OS workstation to use with MATLAB. I think its better to consider system requirements while choosing the operating system to make sure that it is supported with MATLAB.
