I am using Matlab R2012b (a requirement) and I am modeling the leakage around the seal of a pneumatic piston using simscape pneumatic toolbox. I have 2 different air source (different Temperature and pressure) on each side of the piston ( I can have 2 different gas property block for each circuit). When I connect the 2 circuit with a fix orifice to simulate the leakage between chamber then I can only have one gas property block in the system so one side of the circuit has the wrong air properties.
Question is How to mix 2 gas (same gas different properties) in Simulink simscape?
I do not care what happen during the mixing process. all I want is to to study the effect of the leakage based on the gas properties on the 2 circuits on the motion of the cylinder.

Hi Xavier,
I don't believe there's a capability to mix two gases. You can calculate the approximate properties manually and put it in the Gas Properties block to get an estimate from the model.
