dependencies of a for loop and how to analyze it

hi everyone! i need to know the dependencies of a for loop so that i can detect those dependencies and turn that loop in to parallel code.i want to know all kind of dependencies that might occur in the loop...and i also want to know how i can deal with the loop which has variable numbers of iteration say for while loop or do while (iteration is not fixed here)!what if there is pointer in the loop?these kind of relevant things i need to know!if anyone up here really have time to answer my question that will be real good for me!i have went for googling but that didn't help me a lot!! i really want to know how to solve this problem!please help me out...um starving!
