I am unable to use the PWM block present in the simscape library to operate a DC motor. As per requirement of the project the motor operates in anticlockwise direction (direction is 1) when the PWM block generates pulses 1 & 4 High. Pulses 2 & 3 should remain low throughout this period & vice a versa. However the standard PWM generator block available in the Simscape library does not conform to this logic. Pulses 2 & 3 appear to be complementing pulses 1 & 4 respectively. How can i obtain the desired signals from the standard PWM block? Also pl. clarify how the universal bridge should be configured to act as an Hbridge. Or is it more prudent to create my own Hbridge using mosfets?

This logic can be implemented using standard Simulink blocks. The Universal Bridge can be configured to use 1 arm to act as a H bridge. Alternatively, the Half-Bridge Converter can be used directly. If using Simsape technology, best to use the Half-Bridge (Ideal, Switching) block.
