Creating C++ MEX Functions

Hey... I have one question, could i run files .cpp with Mex Tools in Matlab? I use Visual Studio Express 2015, and i use C++ instead of C, and my doubt is if MinGW can run cpp files Please help me! Thanks!

Both VS Express and MinGW have C++ compilers.
