Matlab license files question

I have laptops that run Matlab. I have two license files for each installation. I have a network.lic and a license.lic. so that when its connected it will use the network.lic and when they are off site they will use the license.lic. Problem going from ver 2014 to 2016 while off network the application stated initializing takes for ever to load. If I delete the network.lic license it works as expected.

This looks like you will benefit of leveraging the -c startup option. This way, you can make sure MATLAB starts using a specific license file.
