App Designer Auto-Generated Code is 'Wrong'?

I've been working on a simple app for a few weeks in App Designer, and just today as I tried to run the code, I received the following error:

The code in the image above is 'greyed out' and cannot be edited, as it has been automatically generated by App Designer itself... does anybody know what the issue is with methods (Access = private) and how to fix this?

Can you upload the whole code for that? It seems like a classdef object with private methods.

Problem solved! I had an 'If, else' function way further back in the code that I had failed to terminate with an 'end' statement. That fixed the issue.
