cross checking across excel files

Dear all,

I have 2 excel files say A and B.

A contains 3 sheets but in B all these sheets are merged. I want to compare A and B with some way so as to check that A is consistent with B and vice versa. That is to double check that my merging was done correctly

I envisage something like

% [numA,txtA,rawA] = xlsread(A,1 );

[numB,txtB,rawB] = xlsread(B);

Followed by some if statements
