Plotting 2 different inputs and 1 output using x-y axis

How can I plot 2 different inputs and 1 output using x-y axis?
I used plot3, but the result was a 3D.

Could you link to an example of what the output should look like?
Thank you Walter, the output parameters is the liquid temperature. This liquid temperature increased or reduced as a result of increasing or decreasing the inlet flowrate or inlet temperature or both.
That's why i would reprecents these three parapeters in x-y figure by using y-axixes, the lower x-axis and the upper x-axis.
Just as an example are you looking for something like the example plot for https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/9817-x-steam-thermodynamic-properties-of-water-and-steam ?
Hi Walter,
I'm looking to represent my data like this.
Cheers

I would suggest taking a look at chapter 9 (plotting) in MATLAB Onramp. It is interactive, and may be a great way to learn other helpful things about MATLAB.

Many thanks KSSV, I just tried this option, but I need more investigation to see if it suits me.
