Zero forcing Equalization

hi, I have a question about zero forcing equalizer. When I divide y(f)/x(f) to get channel frequency response, should I do pointwise division or normal division ? I used pointwise division since I thought channel response should be vector. Am I correct ? thanks.

you should arrive to an vector channel response to each user, representing the channel between each transmit antenna and the user
