embedded coder and model references

Hello,

I'd like to use model references in my design. When I generate code from the parent model I'd don't want to have arguments in the function call. However, all functions from referenced models appear to have all inputs and outputs as function argument. Is there a setting to have "void" instead and inputs and outputs are handles with global variables like the parent step-function?
