Hi,
I have written a rather messy script that splits timetable (saved as .mat files) containing rows of data from various dates, into files corresponding to 1 day. If data relevant to a file is split across a few files, my script takes those rows and puts them in ascending order in the same timetable. I currently don't use any particular functions to do this and my script is quite messy and complicated. Is there a function in matlab that does this automatically?
Thanks,

You may have a good reason for wanting to split up the data, but often it is not necessary, tools like findgroups/splitapply, varfun/rowfun, and groupsummary/etc. let you do things to each day's data sepearately, all at once.
To answer your question, though, I would think you'd load the mat files, vertcat the timetables, and use sortrows. But your description is not really clear to me.
