facealpha text arrow color

I use arrows in my plot, which I want to have the same color as my bar plot. However, in this bar plot I need to use 'FaceAlpha', how can I achieve this?

This does not work as the annotation function does not allow for facealpha:

annotation('arrow',X,Y,'Color',[1 0 1], 'FaceAlpha', 0.2]);
