merging two plots of different program

how can i call another program so that i merge plots of these two programs.

Sometimes it is as easy as calling
hold on
and invoking the second program. But sometimes it can get considerably more difficult, depending exactly how the second program does the plotting.

actually the first program is theory based graph and second one is the real plot so i want to plot real data on the theory base plot

Can you post your code so that we have more context for the issue?
If you are using plot() of a graph() or digraph() object, then you can just
hold on
and plot additional items -- plot() of graph() and digraph() objects use regular axes

I woiuld save the plot created in the first script as a .fig file using the savefig function, then in the second script use openfig to load it into that script’s workspace and add whatever you want to it using the hold function. Then use savefig on it again, if you want to save the new figure as a .fig file.
