Hi,
I'm trying to analyse data file from a STM which has topography and current map but i am not aware if there is a local function available (similar to IBWread for .ibw files) to allow one to extract the data from .nid file.
Any help is appreciated.
Cheers

Hi Bogdan,
.nid file format is not supported by MATLAB.
You can try converting that file to some other format and then use the appropriate MATLAB function.
For the list of file formats supported for Import and Export by MATLAB and the appropriate functions, please refer the following documentation link: https://in.mathworks.com/help/matlab/import_export/supported-file-formats.html
