Error while using STFT

I have been trying to use STFT, but I am getting an error of 'too many input arguemnts' every time.
I even tried with the MATLAB example : openExample('signal/STFTOfQuadraticChirpExample')
Still it throws the error: 'Too many input arguments'

Can you please check whether there is another user-defined function/script named stft in your path?

Thanks Asvin .. I had some function file stft. I think that was causing the error..

This often happened to me when I ran with my personal matlab-directories first in the matlab-path. Once I realized that I would be better off putting my directories at the end of the matlab-path (with the inconvenience that I had to keep my function-names separate from all matlab-matlab-function) this stoped hapening.
