communication between matlab and simulink

Hi all,

I am trying to build a simulink stateflow model using m script. When I set param to the input to the stateflow chart to control transition, there occurs a problem that when I first set a condition to 0, and then change it immediately to 1, the simulinkd model cannot reflect the phenomenon, it seems there is a communication diffence between simulink and matlab. Anyone can help me with that?
