Is there any way to purchase the lte toolbox?

I am a student taking the master's course in Germany.

and I would like to implement lte system using LTE toolbox and HDL toolbox.

I guess it is not allowed for the user using the student's license to purchase lte toolbox .

Then, do I have to install industy version of Matlab?

Is there any way to use the lte toolbox?

You either need the commercial version or you need to arrange for academic staff to provide access an academic license.

Academic does mean Education license.

You might need to install the two licenses in different user logins.

In one of the provinces of Germany, all of the universities have access to Total Academic Headcount education licenses that can be made available to students. In the other provinces, some universities have those and some do not. In some universities, all software purchases are handled through one department, and other universities software sales are handled directly by individual staff members. You should ask your advisor about access to MATLAB as they would need to approve it and should know who to contact to arrange the license.

I inquired about the academic license but, the university gave an answer that they can't provide me with this license and It is possible for me to purchase this license in private.

Then, can I know the total price of both academic license of matlab and LTE toolbox?

The LTE Toolbox requires MATLAB, and the DSP Toolbox, and the Signal Processing Toolbox, and the Communications Systems Toolbox. The HDL Coder toolbox requires Fixed Point Designer, and MATLAB Coder.

Mathworks recommend Instrument Control Toolbox, Parallel Computing Toolbox, RF Blockset and HDL Verifier as well; some of those in turn require more toolboxes (such as Simulink). If you are aiming at HDL, chances are that you would be wanting to create a Simulink model.

In Germany, an Academic license for MATLAB, without any toolboxes, is $US500; for Academic, Communications Systems, and DSP Toolbox and Signal Processing are $US200 each; for Academic, Fixed-Point Designer, and MATLAB Coder are $US500 each (Simulink would be as well, if you used that). I cannot find an Academic price for HDL Coder.

Note that students are not permited to purchase Academic licenses themselves; you would have to get Academic staff to do the purchasing (and the University would then own the license.)

"Standard" (commercial) licenses for these products are much more expensive; for example MATLAB Coder is $US6500 for the Standard license.
