Roots simulink problem found

Hello everybody,

I'm currently working on my master thesis and I am trying to find the roots of a 7th order polynomial in simulink. For that, I have introduced a Matlab function block and did the calculations inside the function. The problem is that, when I run the simulation, outputs become variable size matrices and I don't know why.

When I run it on Matlab script, the solution is elegant and it exists, however, in simulink it is not capable of running and solving any solution.

Does anyone know an alternative way of calculating the roots of a high order polynomial? (on simulink)
