Cannot uninstall Matlab, help!

I am trying to uninstall MatLab from my computer but everytime I try, I get the following error

I have tried to find it in Program Files and uninstall it that way, but I cannot find it. Is anyone able to help?

You could try the steps in the Uninstall MathWorks Products page.

If you can't find it in your Progams Files, perhaps it has been uninstalled but the entry is persisting in your Remove Programs list? Can you still launch it? Looking at the path in your error message, did you install MATLAB on your desktop or is that path incorrect? Try navigating to the folder and manually running unistall.exe if it's there (rt click and select Run as Administrator if you can).
