I have a model composed by manu subsystems and I want to convert from floating-point to fixed-point by using the fixed-point tool.
I decided to go with a subsystem-by-subsystem approach. However, when I convert the first subsytem it seems like I cannot go back to the setup page and choose another subsystem to convert. The only way is to save the model, close it, reopen it and start a new fixed-point tool session.
Is there a way to avoid doing this?
Thanks in advance,
Matteo

To convert different subsystems into fixed point by using fixed point tool, you need to manually right click that particular subsystem and launch fixed-point tool, perform the conversion then save that model before repeating the same procedure onto other subsystems.
You need not close the whole simulink session itself. Saving the model before launching the fixed point tool on another subsystem would suffice.
