answer in array form

I am trying to create a code for a class i am in. The teacher wants the answer in array form. However, I input only one value. She wants input, output answer in array form. How do I do this? I am new to MATLAB and this is my first programming experience. aka: noob.

A single value is really more of a scalar than an array. An array of one is really not an array like most people think of it. Why don't you enter two values or more so that you can meet the requirements for your class assignment? Try using inputdlg() - follow the examples in the help.
