How to conserve the "Editor Window" - R2012b

Hello,

I would like to conserve the "Editor Window", even if no *.m is open (just as with R2011b - in "Desktop" then tick "Editor").

Hi Vincent that is not possible in the current release. The best workaround is for you to keep a file open or put something in startup.m file that opens up a file when you launch MATLAB so that the editor is always open.
