Run matlab script automatically based on a new file

Hi all,

I am using a matlab script to do optimization for some experimental data. The experimental data is read from a folder. Now i want that everytime a test is complete and a new data file is written to the folder, the matlab script runs automatically and i donot have to run the script manually. Perhaps somebody can help me in this regard. Many thanks in advance
