Simulation results differs when selecting accelerator mode in Simulink

5 visualizaciones (últimos 30 días)
Hi all,
I was running simulation in accelerator mode and having some abnormalities in sim results. I run the simulation in normal mode, and now everything is as expected. Is this normal? I have some referenced models, multiple finite state machine charts, some Matlab functions, etc. in my model. Is something wrong in my settings, or this is an expected behavior? If it is expected, then what's the point of accelerator mode (if it will not work properly)
Thanks in advance

Thank you for the answer. I looked up the post you gave, but still don't get the idea of the accelerator mode. The links in the post say that slightly different results are expected. But, I can not get the point of accelerator mode, if it does not give me the exact same results as normal mode. What's the point? In my example, a finite state machine (FSM) chart did not behave as expected, and after a simulation of the whole day (86400 seconds) the results differed as minutes (since the FSM is repeated all day long several times, tiny differences added together and resulted as minutes).
Maybe my model is not suitable for the accelerator mode. But, if the user is not aware of that, that will be dangerous for the results. How can we know that at the beginning, and is there a way to match the results (by avoiding some blocks, or with a setting)
Thanks again.
