Instrument control toolbox - device drivers

Hello,

sorry to bother you with my question.

I'm working in the laboratory with T94 Controller from linkam (basically controls temperatured depending on voltage it lets through) which has possible way to connect to computer. I'd like to control the machine with matlab but drivers for the machine aren't in the list of available drivers on mathworks websites.

Therefore my question is:

Is it not possible to control any other device which doesn't have its drivers on the website or is there a way to create such a driver file and be able to use matlab to control the device? It would really help us because we are already using matlab for part of the project and this would really help us out (if we could actually connect even this device, because right now we are there manualy changing the temperature, ie. voltage, based on matlab analyses of this process). Or could you point us out some website or other materials on the driver problem (creating, ...)?
