faster datetime conversion using native MySQL Interface

Hi,

I am using the Native MySQLInterface to retrieve data from a database.

One of the columns has datetime data and the native interface recognises and retrieves it correctly, returning a variable of 'datetime' class.

however when i run the code profiler I am spending a lot of time in the function "convertToNativeTypes"

The functions within this taking the time are within the datetime function guessFormat and tryOneFmt.

I was wondering if there is a way of specifying the expected format so as to speed the up the datetime conversion within the fetch command?
