fprintf a cell array

I have a cell array with columns of different lengths.
I want to fprintf each column into different columns in excel.
Please help thanks.

Did you try to use function writecell?

I got this error. 'The data block starting at cell 'A1' exceeds the sheet boundaries by 0 row(s) and 45670 column(s).'

Simon is correct: xls and xlsx files do not permit that many columns.

Mine is Microsoft office 2013. still does not work

Referring to the official Microsoft documentation:
Total number of rows and columns on a worksheet
1,048,576 rows by 16,384 columns
