A 2D array image(x,y) is correctly shown by "imshow", so that the coordinates begin at (x=0,y=0) in the bottom left corner
2D array image(x,y) when shown by using "imshow" command is shown as a matrix so that the first pixel value appears at the left top corner. This code rotates and flips the 2D array image(x,y) so that when the image is shown by using the command "imshow", the coordinates begin at (x=0,y=0) in the bottom left corner which is more conventional for physical coordinate system
