Overview
The Microcontroller Simulation & Code-Generation Blockset(The MSC Blockset) is a MATLAB®/Simulink® model that simulates peripheral functions integrated in microcontrollers. By combining it with user models, system behavior assuming a real system can be examined and verified at the model level. In addition, it supports C code generation, including access to microcontroller I/O registers. Since it runs on a PC, development can be performed without using an actual target board.
Setup
- Download installer of the MSC Blockset from product page and install it.
- Please refer to the README file in the installation folder and the User’s Manual in the MSC_Blockset folder for instructions on how to get started.
Note: The MSC Blockset includes a time-limited license file. Once the license expires, a license error will be displayed. In such a case, please re-download the MSC Blockset from the product page.

- RA6T2, RA6T3, RA4T1 (GPT, A/D converter)
- RL78/F22, RL78/F23, RL78/F24, RL78/F25 (TRDe, A/D converter, AAU)
- RX66T, RX26T, RX72T (GPT, A/D converter)
