Rock Thin Section Porosity
Rock Thin Section Porosity
Simple code for converting blue-stained thin section image of rock into
the binary image. The code needs the Image processing toolbox
This code takes input.png in RBG format and gives back output.png in
binary format.
Also shows both images and the segmented porous space of image
If you think that the binary image does not present the blue-filled parts
adequately, you can change the threshold value for your images. The
recomended range is between 140 to 160 but now 150 is selected.
