Valerio

Valerio Miot got B.Sc. degree (summa cum laude) in Telecommunication Engineering at Politecnico di Torino with a thesis on electromagnetic impact analysis after an internship at Vodafone Italia, where he realized an automatic workbench to evaluate Wi-Fi access point emission levels. In 2007 he got M.Sc. degree (summa cum laude) in Telecommunication Engineering at Politecnico di Torino with a thesis on a constant envelope modulation optical systems research at Istituto Superiore Mario Boella. After M.Sc. degree he got a research grant by CNIT (Italian National University Consortium for Telecommunications) in Optical technologies for analog and digital signals elaboration. Then in years 2008-2010 he got Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering with a thesis on innovative modulation formats for optical telecommunication systems; in 2008 he spent one year in the Photonics Business Unit of Cisco Systems.
