I was born in 1982 in Palermo. I received the M.Sc. degree cum laude in Informatic Engeneering for Intelligent Systems from University of Palermo, Italy in 2010, and the Ph.D. in computer engineering from the University of Genoa, in collaboration with Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), in 2014, under the supervision of Prof. Vittorio Murino and Prof. Marco Cristani working on Data Fusion in Video Surveillance. fter that, I worked as post-doc at the Pattern Analysis and Computer Vision (PAVIS) department at IIT in Genoa, Italy. Here, I followed the AvioAero-IIT Industrial Project realizing a new inspection system (hardware and software implementation) for the quality of their manufacturing products. Up to now, I'm a Researcher and Data Scientist at Meritocracy in Milan, Italy. My main research interests include statistical pattern recognition, data fusion, machine learning and object detection and classification.
