I am an M.Sc. candidate in Wind Power Project Management. Currently, I am concluding my thesis research pertaining to the quantification of offshore wind speed deficits, or shadow effects, between wind farms. To complete this project, I have been using idealized mesoscale (WRF) modeling to develop such a quantification technique as well as validate it statistically with the use of an Analog Ensemble technique.
