Optimizing System Performance: Hydraulic Actuator

A hydromechanical actuation system needs to track a reference signal without exceeding the force for the actuator. To meet these requirements, a Simscape Fluids™ model is created and automatically tuned using Simulink Design Optimization™. Optimization algorithms guide automatic adjustments to parameter values to improve system performance. Efficient convergence on an optimal set of parameters is achieved by measuring the sensitivity of the system to changes in the parameter values.
