Why do I get the following error message when closing my database connection when using the Database Toolbox 2.2.1(R13)?
No constructor com.mathworks.toolbox.database.closeTheDatabaseConnection with matching signature found.

This error occurs if you have an invalid database connection handle. Therefore, please check that the database connection handle or object that you have is valid. You can check if it is valid by seeing if the message field of the object is populated. The message field will contain an error message that was echoed from the database you were trying connect to.
If you would rather have an error message thrown immediately if the database connection failed, then you can use the following command:
setdbprefs('errorhandling','report')
