How can I segment the document image ?

Not sure what that is but you can find OCR algorithms here: http://iris.usc.edu/Vision-Notes/bibliography/contentschar.html#OCR,%20Document%20Analysis%20and%20Character%20Recognition%20Systems
As far as I know pso means particle swarm optimization and I'm not sure why you tagged this with that. I'll tag it ocr for you.

i am using pso algorithm for document segmentation(blockwise segmentation.So can u help me in that.

Image Analyst doesn't do PSO work (or at least not in public :-) )
