source code for the z transform

i am working on z transform and in matlab, an m-file, ztrans.m is available in the symbolic math toolbox. but i am unable to find the source code for that file. i would like to know in depth about the function. can anyone please help me in this regard

You will need to work for Mathworks to see the source. See the "careers" link at the mathworks.com site.
