Stateflow chart getting stuck in the xpctarget environment

A simple circular stateflow statechart diagram is able to consistently trigger from one state to another on sequential event inputs when operating Normal mode in Simulink.

But when the same diagram is compiled and downloaded in xpctarget it will trigger on the first occurrence of an event (rising edge trigger), but after that fails to trigger on subsequent events.

Is there a bug in stateflow causing this issue?

I'm running version 8.0 (R2012b)

I've got the same problem. It would be great to get an answer. I'm running xpc Target 5.5 and Stateflow 8.2 (2013b)

I made a model based on my understanding of what you both have described. The attached model ran and produced outputs AS EXPECTED in R2013b and R2014a. Did I miss anything? Would you be able to provide an example model perhaps?
