I have a complex hysteresis loops and want to calculate the total inner area of this diagram to obtain the dissipated energy in structure. Is there any code or function that I can use or not? these hysteresis loops are based on x,y coordinates, but the shape is not simple like a one loop.(is complex)

Posting a plot of your hysteresis loop and a description of the data (sizes of the vectors or matrices) would help. Also, by ‘complex’ do you mean having real and imaginary parts, or something else?

There is no inbuilt function . You need to write your-own function .Presuming that you have x and y vectors and hysteresis loop is symmetric ; use trapezoidal rule to find the area of the half and multiply accordingly (taking quadrants into consideration)
