RF Blockset - Export to SimRF and how to input S-Parameters file

Hello,

Was designing a MIMO System in my previous Matlab 2017 version when I later updated this week to the 2021 version. In the 2021 version after designing a simple MIMO system, the Import to simRF / Import to simRF Testbench options are missing. Do I require additional toolboxes or was something changed? Also how to generate touchstone files in Matlab to be used for S11-Parameters block.

I understand that you are working on a MIMO system and would like to know how to generate touchstone files and where to locate 'Export to SimRF Testbench' in MATLAB R2021a.

The 'rfwrite' function is used generate touchstone files in MATLAB. Kindly refer to the below documentation for further the information regarding 'rfwrite' function.

Regarding your first query, 'SimRF toolbox' has been renamed to 'RF blockset' from MATLAB R2017a. In MATLAB R2021a, 'Export to SimRF Testbench' is renamed to 'Export to Measurement Testbench'. Kindly use the 'Export to Measurement Testbench' under the 'Export' tab in RF Budget Analyzer app. Please refer to the below documentation for further details regarding how to use RF Measurement testbench.
