Data cursor not functioning properly after update to R2021a

Since updating to R2021a my cursor has been very buggy. I almost always need ot use the "datacursormode on" command to allow me to utilize the data cursor and once I do the arrows will not move the cursor. If I hit an arrow key it simply switches back to teh command prompt. This is very problematic for debugging. Has anyone had these issues and if so how can I fix it?
