k = imread('filter.jpg'); l = imnoise(k,'salt & papper',0.02); I got an error as

Error using imnoise>ParseInputs (line 227) Unknown noise type: 'salt & papper'.

Error in imnoise (line 85) [a, code, classIn, classChanged, p3, p4] = ParseInputs(varargin{:});

help me in this regard.

You have a typo in the noise type - it should be pepper and not papper. Try the following instead

 imnoise(k,'salt & pepper',0.02);
