Can we have user defined rules check with Coding Standard Violations?

Can you give an example of the kind of rules you are thinking of? There is a set of custom rules for naming conventions, but even otherwise, you can extend quite a few of the Polyspace checkers. For instance, you can define a list of forbidden functions and have Polyspace Bug Finder check for use of those functions.

Yes, both custom rules and extensions of Polyspace Bug Finder checkers are available with the desktop and server version.
