I will be glad to help you with this. Can you send me a specific data set info (I can download the data myself if I known the date and time from AWS). I have only worked with the GOES 16 data but there is no reason this function would not work with GOES17 data. One thing I am concerned about is the baseline location of the satellite which is different for GOES17 than GOES16.Let me do a little homework and we can disuss

Hi stephen, I cannot send the datset here as I cannot insert the dataset here. If you can send me your email id, I can send you the data. yes, the should be work with the GOES16 or GOES17 data set. I just want to see the approach. What I need to make the spatial map with the Lat ,Long and the Rad variable in the dataset. If you just help me write the script it would be helpful for me
