Hi,
I found that by default in my country (regional setting) the comma (,) is used as the decimal separator in any application. However, I am more used to using the dot (.) for this and since it's most used internationally I tried to change the regional settings in macOS system preferences so that when I type the dot key on my keyboard numpad the decimal separator is the dot and not the comma.
However, there was no change but with a workaround I managed to solve the issue and the dot is now functional in all macOS applications except in MATLAB, in which the comma is still displayed when I type the same key.
Is it possible to change the decimal separator in MATLAB?
Thanks!

No.
Apart from a few isolated cases related to file importing, MATLAB uses only a decimal point.
