This is a really dumb question -- I apologize in advance.
I have a three dimensional array in MATLAB and I would like to open each page in the variables editor. When I select the array in the Workspace window it opens the array as it would from the command window -- as a text readout. I would prefer it to open in the variables window as it would in a spreadsheet.
There must be a simple way of doing this. I know I can rename each page as a matrix but it seems that there should be a more direct approach.

Hi Christopher,
I understand that you are trying to open each page of three-dimensional array in the Variables editor.
Unfortunately, you cannot edit elements or subsets of multidimensional arrays in the "Variables editor". There is no other way than creating a separate variable for each page.
Hope this resolves you query!
